Wimberley
So, if it was a boy we were gonna be torn between lots of names - none of which we were thrilled about - but the girl name we had pretty early on. We can't remember when we first started talking about it, but somewhere along the way the name Wimberley came up. I liked it because my family used to spend summers at the Rio Bonito in Wimberley, Texas when I was a kid. I have great memories of building dams in the river and chasing snakes, dogs, frogs and adventure there. Colleen loves Wimberley too and is a true river person. She can name most of the flora and fauna of the hill country and has a special love for the quiet Blanco river as it meanders past the cypress trees and live oaks near Wimberley. Sounded good to us! We'll call her "Early" for short.
